Road Bike Fitting

Road bike fit is extremely important! Riders of all abilities can spend hours at a time in the saddle in a somewhat static neutral position. Comfort and efficiency are key to making that Sunday ride a great one.

Your 2-hour Road Bike Fit session includes examination of and required adjustments to saddle height, saddle fore/aft, cockpit length, handlebar drop and handlebar rotation. In addition, a pedal stoke evaluation determines whether any cleat adjustments are needed, including wedging for varus (inward) or valgus (outward) deviation.

80 to 90% of all cyclists have some kind of misaligned foot-pedal set up. At 90rpm the average cyclist completes over 5,000 revolutions per hour. Make every one count - find your bike-body relationship with BC Bike Fit.

Recreation Rider Fit

Recreation Rider Fit

Rec rider fit is geared towards providing bike fit services to someone that is new to cycling or for some one that is not using a clip in shoe system. Therefore the emphasis of the fit session is on cockpit set up. Examination of the foot pedal interface is not required to the same extent as someone that is using a road pedal system.

This service would best suit new road riders, mountain bikers, commuters and riders going bike touring. The focus of this session will be to create a comfortable cock pit that will provide an efficient performance related set up.

The Rec Rider Fit session will include a history take, examination of and required adjustments to saddle height, saddle fore/aft, cockpit length, handlebar drop and handlebar rotation, brake and shifter position.

If you think that the Rec Rider fit is for you or if you would like more information on this service contact Dave Howells.
