The cycling industry continues to evolve making it hard to understand some aspects of bicycle design.
Cyclist often ask, “What is my frame size?” and “what style of frame should I ride?”
When asked advice on “what to look for when buying a new bike?” I like to try and change the focus from a complete bike to paying more attention to “frame size and style” this will help to narrow it down.
That is why BC Bike Fit uses a Purely Custom Size Cycle combined with Video Analysis to find the best possible frame which allows you to be in the best possible cycling position.
Once this is established we then use Stack and Reach to mathematically understand which real-world bikes will best re-create that position for you.
How Does It Work?
BC Bike Fit will take the guess work out of “what bike should I buy”. We will start with a sizing session on the Purely Custom Size Cycle which will establish a list of bikes to go and demo ride. You will then go for a test ride at your local bike shops to chose, “what bike works best for you”. Once the purchase has been made you can then return to the BC Bike Fit studio for your final fitting. This service also includes a complimentary follow up visit for any minor adjustments that might be needed within the first 30 days.
